Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE (born 30 March 1945) is an English blues-rock guitarist,
singer, songwriter, and composer. Clapton has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the
Yardbirds, of Cream, and as a solo performer, being the only person ever to be inducted three times. Often viewed by
critics and fans alike as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Clapton was ranked fourth in Rolling Stone
magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and #53 on their list of the Immortals: 100
Greatest Artists of All Time.



The Crossroads Guitar Festival was a music festival and benefit concert first held in
2004 and again in 2007. The festivals benefit the Crossroads Centre founded by Eric Clapton, a drug treatment center
located in Antigua. The concerts are also intended to be a showcase for a variety of guitarists. All were hand-picked by
Eric Clapton himself, who addressed the 2007 audience, saying that each were some of the very best, and those who had
earned his respect.

è l'unico musicista che vanta 3 inserimenti nella Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (The Yardbirds, Cream, solista). La
rivista Rolling Stone lo ha inserito al numero 4 nella lista Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, che

Il concerto del 2007 fu tenuto al Toyota Park di Bridgeview, Illinois il 28 luglio. I 28.000 biglietti disponibili
